Chinese handscroll containing a painting on silk with mineral colors (41 x 270 cm), representing a landscape, private collection, Paris.
The scroll was in a very bad condition : both the cover and the knobs were missing.
The support was acidified. After being restored the painting has been mounted with half its original mounting (the collophons and the strips of damasked silk), and half a new mounting : new stave, new brocade cover, plaited silk ribbon, jade knobs and clasp.
